FAQs

  • What is the TriLegend Cup?
The TriLegend Cup is an elite, invitation-only experience built around three iconic pursuits—fishing, golf, and poker—hosted on the shores of Lake Tahoe. While competitive in format, the event is ultimately about connection: great conversations, shared moments, and lasting friendships.

Where and when does the event take place?
Lake Tahoe, September (TBD) 2025. All lodging, meals, and main events are centered around The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe.

    How many participants are there?
The field is limited to 40 players to preserve intimacy, quality, and meaningful interaction.

    Who is this event for?
This is for individuals who value sport, strategy, and meaningful relationships—entrepreneurs, investors, operators, and creatives who appreciate high-level experiences with low-ego energy.

What’s included in the package price?
The $9,700 entry includes Edgewood lodging, fishing charter, golf tournament, poker setup, meals, drinks, transportation, swag, and all event operations. Taxes apply.

  • Where do we stay?
All guests stay at The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe—ranked the #1 Resort Hotel in the Continental U.S. Each suite offers lake or mountain views and walkable access to all events.

Can I request a specific room type or view?
Absolutely. While all rooms are exceptional, upgraded suites are available for an additional charge upon request.

Are non-participating guests (spouses/partners) allowed to attend?
This is a player-focused experience. Due to space limitations and the format of the event, guests are not included in core activities. Please inquire directly if you’re seeking lodging for a partner.

  • How does the tournament format work across the three events?
You’ll compete as part of a four-person team for fishing and golf. Each leg awards performance-based chips that carry into the final poker tournament. The top teams from each phase earn bonuses, but this event is about camaraderie over cutthroat play.

Do I need to bring my own gear for fishing or golf?
All gear is provided—including rods, tackle, golf carts, and scorecards. You're welcome to bring personal clubs or reels, but it's not required.

What if I’ve never played poker before?
No problem. Our dealers are professional and friendly, and the setup is designed to be fun and accessible. We do ask for fair play: players with prior experience in professional-level tournaments may be reviewed before entry.

How are chip stacks calculated for the poker tournament?
Stacks are awarded based on your team’s performance in fishing and golf. While the poker finale is engaging, this is not a high-stakes gambling event—top payouts will never exceed 4x entry.

Is there a dress code for golf or poker night?
Yes. Golf attire requires collared shirts and no denim. Poker night is upscale casual—smart, but relaxed.

  • Are meals and drinks included?
Yes—nearly all meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beverages, are included. Specialty upgrades are available, and we’ll highlight any optional out-of-pocket moments in advance.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Of course. You’ll be asked to submit dietary info prior to the event. Our culinary team can handle most needs with ease.

What’s the dining format—buffet, plated, or open seating?
A mix of curated buffets, chef-attended stations, and hosted table options. Expect relaxed elegance and top-tier hospitality throughout.

  • How do I get to The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe?
We recommend flying into Reno-Tahoe International Airport. It’s a scenic 1-hour drive to Edgewood. Detailed arrival logistics will be shared in advance.

Is transportation provided from the airport?
We can assist with preferred providers or coordinate private group transport upon request.

Do I need a rental car during the event?
No. All main activities are walkable or include shuttle service. If you choose to explore Tahoe independently, a car is optional.

How do we get to the marina for fishing?
Transportation will be provided to and from the marina. Some boats may launch directly from the Edgewood dock.

  • How do I register?
If you’ve received an invitation, registration will be completed via our secure RSVP portal. A 50% deposit is required at signup; the balance is due 3 weeks before the event.

    What’s the cost to attend?
The entry fee is $9,700 per participant plus applicable taxes. This includes everything listed above.

    Is the event invitation-only?
Yes. Current and past attendees in good standing have priority to nominate new participants. Once the field is full, a waitlist will be maintained.

    What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of our event commitments, there are no refunds within 30 days of the event or for early departures.

  • Will I receive a detailed itinerary before the event?
Yes. You’ll receive a full schedule, packing list, and directions—including how to obtain a fishing license—well in advance.

How will I be contacted with updates or changes?
We use email and SMS to keep you informed before and during the event. Please ensure your contact info is up to date.
